Socialist Activities:

In France, the Radical Party was formed about 1875 and, although it split into Radical and Radical Socialist activities parties in 1893, it dominated the Third Republic for many years; the outstanding Radical leader being Georges Clemenceau, the outstanding Radical Socialist fidouard Herriot. REUTHER, rooth'er, Walter (Philip),American labor leader: b. Wheeling, W.Va., Sept. 1, 1907. His father was prominent in labor activities and had unsuccessfully run for Congress on the Socialist activities ticket.
